I have just had the worst beer of my existence.

Magic Hat's Hicu, which is cucumber and hibiscus ale.  Cucumber is my favorite fruit, so I thought it would be a refreshing summer style beer.

It tastes like the essence of a Bath & Body Works.  I actually poured it in the sink.  Ouch

picked up a growler of this the other day: http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/toccalmatto-surfing-hop-imperial-ipa/95331/

as the days get cooler in the southern hemisphere, my beers are slowly getting darker and darker...

They have become popular here and their 'fame' is spreading.
They make 4 or 5 regular year round beers and quite a few seasonals in  22oz bombers.
They held Dark Lord Day yesterday (the only time one can buy DarK Lord a Russian imperial stout...)but I could not get a ticket....again. They have an online lottery and if you are lucky enough to know someone who works there you might get in.

Of the ones listed I went with Guinness but I also like Newcastle and Bass.
But for the last 5 years I've mostly been drinking US micro brews since there are so many excellent ones around.
A local place called 3 Floyds makes some very good ales and beers...and holds Dark Lord Day to celebrate their Dark Lord stout. My personal favorite by them is Robert The Bruce.
