Will do!

But my problem is that I love the album so much that making a review won't do it justice. That's basically why I haven't made a GYBE review. Ouch

Another good band I just found......

Tomydeepestego, fantastic post metal from Rome.Very reminiscent of Pelican,Isis,Cult of Luna,Neurosis(without being derivative).

I am listening to their 2007 release "Odyssea" and it is superb.

The singing isnt really... singing.

They sound better than Nuerosis though, so I will probably warm up to them.

Tusk- a couple more listens will be a lot better for my opinion, the last song on the album, the 16 minuete long drone on noise song is too weird though.

Neurosis- I gave given to the rising a couple more listens, and hated it. I will try out one more album before dropping them as a whole though.

Yeah, I really like the first couple songs on the Tusk album a lot better than the last two, but the first ones are still really really good.

What is this? Jesu music with RIO vocals? I will give it more time before my wrath is unleashed.

Much more like a dirtier, sludgier Pelican (well, members of Pelican are in the band so it makes sense...)

The vocals are a cool addition, I think.  They're not harsh, they just add to the craziness of the sound.
Not for fans of non-noisy music, to say the least.

I like Tusk's music. It sounds weird to most Post-Metal. They show off their Prog influences and aren't afraid to do so either. I'm still trying to fully grasp their latest album, but after the second listen I was having positive thoughts about them.

Not an accessible band, but a nice album for the little crowd that enjoy it.

Count me in.

Still consider Souls At Zero as one of their best, if not their most important (particularly given when it was released). Fantastic band (and I love all the bands mentioned here thus far as well).

I agree fully.
