Not happy at the Mo. Russia may be going through! AAgh! Then they would play Germany I guess. The further they get the more likely that w**ker Putin will tur up to make political capital.
Come on Algeria please score.

Algeria. Unless the Belgian team collapses completely, the Algerians will be through with a draw. And I hope they will beat Putin’s men. (I have nothing against the Russian people; I just don’t like their czar.)

if one team deserves to be to the next round this should be the Africans, they surprised me so far with their passionate game.

Who's advancing to the next stages to meet Germany and the US?
There's one spot left - Russia, Algeria and South Korea.. Take your pick!

Please explain- as opposed to what teams? Uruguay?

I did not think in any other team... just the way they played even knowing their chances were minimal to go ahead. They played with heart, with pain, with soul and seeing the Portuguese GK, Beto, crying to remain in the field with less than 5' to the end was really poignant: a summary of the entire game IMO.

Oh well. Still better than Spain, and all that. At least now I can properly enjoy the World Cup.
