It seems James knows how to handle crises better than Alex.Wink

Are too noodly for me and disappoint me greatly.

Now there's a band with less depth.

They remind me of the The Doors... they go on for far too long.

Can't say I'm overly impressed by First Utterance. It's raw, emotionally challenging and unique in its own way...but where is the depth?

I absolutely love that album; I think there's plenty of depth.

Not quite sure if it's to your taste though.

Perhaps. But I'd like to know why it isn't to my taste.

I don't feel like going musically-psychoanalyst, haha. I just wouldn't have thought you'd enjoy it THAT much.

It may grow on you though. How many times have you heard it?

Bassoon girl?! You have Dahlia? Shocked

Oh, wait, you mean Lindsay Cooper. That's bad too.

Where am I supposed to get 10,000 socks?! Ouch

I hear you have plenty of red socks. Although I'd prefer to not know what you do with them.Dead

Because it's brilliant.

Actually, maybe you don't like the subject matter and/or John Milton?  Perhaps it's the vocal style.

It is full of depth.  It Drip Drip's full of depth actually.

Plus there is no other album like it.  Not even Jan Dukes De Grey.

You are also allowed to swear within reason, as long as you don't direct at another member, which is quite reasonable.

What I find funny is that PA comes down hard with censorship, but yet some idiot can come and spell whole sentences incorrectly with poor grammar, yet no says anything, and when someone like me with strong opinions comes in and tells them to freaking write properly, someone tells me I'm not nice.
And someone wont use the search function and then I tell them not to be lazy and just use it and someone tells me I'm being nasty, when I'm just trying to do good for the older members of this forum who are sick of "OMG YES" threads.

I didn't use the search button myself today Embarrassed.

Oh, okay, I misread that.

Hmmm... I was thinking of listening to it this weekend, actually. If I do, I'll let you know what I think.

Selling England to the Rich Landed-Gentry and the Prince of Wales and Annoyingly Rich Russian KGB Oil Barons by the Euro.

That's the one I have.

That's the polite version too.

Stevie Nicks now, man she is really one of the great American songwriters

Is her solo stuff any good?

Not a fan of her vocals, so I never got into it.

her solo stuff is wonderful (I think) - pop mind you, but you knew that of course.. her last Trouble in Shangri-la is terrific with a lot of old Buckingham-Nicks era cuts that never made it on the Fleetwood Mac albums

Her voice?  I love it, deep but wide-ranged and full bodied, husky, soulful, unique

Don't worry, I'm not one to judge female vocals much. I usually hate all the ones normal people like.

I hate Kate Bush too (apparently it's a bad thing) Embarrassed
