Gets some decent ratings but wasn't my thing. More carbonation than I like, a thin body, and not much character. I wouldn't buy it again.
If however you like carbonation and a thinner bodied stout, give it a shot. |

You should try their Inversion. My favorite of theirs. Edited by Metalmarsh89 - December 04 2013 at 10:38 |

I'm new to this thread so I dunno if it's been discussed, but I'm surprised Hobgoblin isn't in the list. I thought that was the Proggiest of beers. If it still existed I'd pick bleedin' Watney's Red Barrel. In it's absense, Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale. But I voted for Guinness, putting it in the lead. I'm more of a Boodles Gin guy however...

Practice makes perfect? Beer after wine was never a problem. Wine after beer, however...not so good. Throw in any hard liquor and it's |

Beer on top of wine eh? You've got a strong gut....or youth....or a bit of both? Combining beer and wine in any quantity would lay me out flat.... Enjoy my friend |

This sounds a little gross....like maybe too sweet....but it worked fairly well for me. A stout with a bit of a maple flavor. Won't be a regular choice but an interesting occasional diversion.

Had high hopes for this that didn't pan out. The taste is OK, a bit uninspired, but the carbonation level is just ridiculously high. The company are Rush fans though, they have several brews named after Rush songs.

I remember when I could drink a pyramid of Schlitz malt liquor and it wouldn't even phase me....I'd get pleasantly hammered but not sick at all. If I tried that now, I'd probably end up in the ER.
But that's OK. Now I enjoy beer for the taste...and to relax.....but I sometimes miss getting fall down sh*tfaced. Not often, but sometimes. |
