In fact, I do like Mice and Rats in the Loft but it is disappointing to me still.

That's how much of Jan Dukes De Grey sound to me.
Comus keep it interesting and shorter too. They don't like ideas.
Edit: yes, they're 10,000 times better than The Doors

It seems James knows how to handle crises better than Alex.

"Crisis? What Crisis?" Back on topic (re: prog and vocalists that sound like the dude from Comus).

Are too noodly for me and disappoint me greatly.
Now there's a band with less depth.
They remind me of the The Doors... they go on for far too long.

edit: hey, comparing anyone to the Doors is nasty!

Actually, a lot of the really young members get absolutely blasted by older members at some of the guitar forums I go. At one particular forum, mods will ban you if you keep posting in short hand and spelling incorrectly. People also get warned for not using the search function and can even get their account suspended for a few weeks by continuing to abuse the lack of search function use by posting done to death topics again and again. You are also allowed to swear within reason, as long as you don't direct at another member, which is quite reasonable.
What I find funny is that PA comes down hard with censorship, but yet some idiot can come and spell whole sentences incorrectly with poor grammar, yet no says anything, and when someone like me with strong opinions comes in and tells them to freaking write properly, someone tells me I'm not nice. And someone wont use the search function and then I tell them not to be lazy and just use it and someone tells me I'm being nasty, when I'm just trying to do good for the older members of this forum who are sick of "OMG YES" threads.
|
I didn't use the search button myself today . |
Just once, that's okay, but I mean users that constantly post new topics that have been done to death again and again. That's why I almost never start new topics, even when I was a newbie at PA I rarely started new topics and never topics that had been done before.
