I think I might get in on this, maybe the $50 one with your name on the credits on the CD. They're a great band!

My mate `ummmed' and `ahhed' over choosing the same option for the latest Caravan album, the pledge expired, and we missed out altogether. I've since bought the CD, and everyones names looked nice and big in the booklet, very impressed! So I'd rather not miss out on this one.

I did a similar pre-order from the recent solo album from the singer of French band Nemo (I totally have a mental blank on his name right now! ) and it was cool to get my name on that CD booklet!

When does the Kickstart wrap up for this one, David?

First day draws to a close, with just 35 more to go...And of the 12,000 bucks they need in total, they already have 7,925...That's almost 2/3 of the target in a single day!!! "Wow!" is all I can say. See more at: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1801575573/district-97s-3rd-studio-albumSmile

I was surprised they needed Kickstarter to raise money to record the new album, but I want another D97 album so I will definitely be donating when the campaign starts on the 25th.

If anyone ever gets the chance to see them live I highly recommend it.They are a great live act and really friendly and take the time to talk to their fans.

Me,Leslie Hunt,my daughter and son

OK, time to drag this one back up again, as advertised.

Please don't get me wrong, I'ts not my intention of asking anyone here to partake in that or any Kickstarter campaign, I don't do stuff like that myself. I'd just like to point anyone in the direction of D-7's first two albums which, to me, are among the best releases of the last few years.

District 97's music is just exactly my thing. Just goes to show the sorry state of affairs that this band has to resort to a Kickstarter campaign.
Just to let you know in advance: I'm going to bump this thread every 3 days.

Hmm...I figured those dweebs were nuclear physicists and chemical engineers by day, except for the singer who I assumed bodyguards and does some "clean-up" work for the government. Wouldn't expect them to need money.

Anyways, hope it works out for them since I dig their previous albums.

The band are delighted to give us a sneak peak at a track from their upcoming 3rd studio album. The only catch is, they don't have enough money to record it! Please consider helping them bring this project to fruition by contributing to their Kickstarter campaign, which launches Monday, August 25th!

Leslie proves yet again that you can dance to prog!!  LOL

Also check out their Kickstarter Launch Shows at the Double Door in Chicago on 8/28, and Q-Bar in Darien, IL on 9/5!
More shows to be added. Smile
