The worst call ever was Brett Hull in the crease against Buffalo a few years back, giving the Cup to Dallas ! But , just like in any sport, i.e boxing, the Brit ref told both benches BEFORE the game started that any slash , even a tap on a goalie holding the puck, will be penalized, These instructions come from the IIHF. Both teams were warned and the ref had no choice ....Remember the line brawl earlier in the year? The two teams do not like each other at all. The Yank girls did not choke , they just got poop tired at the end, which explains how Poulin scored the winner in OT. Yes, OT! 

There is no pro-Canada bias , as the men's game proved succinctly today. (BTW, the guys DO not hate each other LOL). Come on, we are neighbors and it/we will always be close......Wink

Shame the games were so poor today. Finland and USA both laid major eggs after playing so well all tournament. Canada's going to roll the undeserving Swedish team on Sunday.

And actually I preferred the Italian girl to all of the others.  She had a maturity and natural expression, a more relaxed movement, compared to the cold technical perfectionist tendencies of others.

What a miserable hockey game to watch. The Swedes have to play absolutely nobody the entire tournament to this point and when they finally do that opponent lays an egg. Had Rask started the game for Finland they'd probably still be playing but poor coaching decision leads to an extremely weak go ahead goal and an undeserving future silver medalist in Sweden. God, I hate the Swedish team. Such garbage.

No, it's far from bad. We're just so damn spoiled up here!

Gotta disagree, everyone at my work cheered when they announced Canada had one and the stories continue to flow in of people in cars honking thier horns at the news and the local sports radio station has been getting calls from Canadians all over the world expressing their joy. Sure it's far less popular than men's hockey but this is huge. Probably the way they came from behind has a lot to do with it as well.
