Misplaced Childhood for me. Not the best neo-prog album IMO, but still excellent.
Caravan, Yes, Floyd and Rush also deserve honorable mentions.

Hi, just wondering what everybody's favourite album that is number 1 in its respective prog subgenre is. For me, it is King Crimson's debut without a doubt!  Although, if I had included Proto- and Prog-Related, Led Zeppelin IV would be my choice.
As always, thanks for any feedback 
P.S Sorry I couldn't include the subgenre within the poll option - not enough room for all of them
