   Very tough call.  Alder and Tate would probably be the most
influential (where would Russel Allen, Daniel Gildenlow and James
LaBrie be without them?), Maynard and Devin would be the most
versatile, yet I have to give my vote to Mikael.

	It's still Russell Allen for me. Devin Townsend is great, but I appreciate him even more as a songwriter and guitarist, and that's also how he describes himself.

	Devin Townsend. That album he made with Steve Vai is amazing. Sex and Religion shows a lot of things but mostly it presented a world class metal singer
