Hangover Paradise's Mirrors, maybe the best one in Neo Prog category.

Bilo 3.0 by David Maxim Micic (already in PA) is great prog metal album and would be mentioned in this thread.

I was pretty disappointed by Hubardo. I'm a huge Toby fan, and this, I felt, was one of his weaker attempts. It felt way too loose and unorganized for my liking. There is a degree of Toby chaos that is absolutely delicious (I'm thinking motW's Bath) and this album seemed to pass that. Plus I'm a bigger of fan of Kayo Dot's darker moodier stuff, like Choirs, BLD, and Coyote. Gamma Knife was another album I could pass on, although it was quite good.

Ok. Sounds like something I must give a spin. Chrome Hoof huh? The name alone sounds like it would be a zeuhl or rio/avant guarde band. Anyway. I'll give it some attention.

Oh as a far as a prize goes for next year how about taking a ride on the 'Fish-Blimp' that is on the cover of YES's Fragile album, and flying it across the universe while playing the top rated/voted PA album for that year.
Weird I know, but it would be awesome. Regardless.
Anyway. I think next years winner may be IQ's up coming release that will be out I think in April. ;)
5 years the wait.....should be great.

I had Chrome Hoof on constant rotation in the car about a month ago. I've had to put it back in the car as I kept reaching for it. It grooves beyond belief.

It may just be that it's new and fresh, but at the moment I think it's the best album they've made.

7. Sigur Ros - Kveikur
8. Everything Everything - Arc
9. The Tangent - Le Sacre du Travail
10. 6LA8 - The Last Strands of Fortitude

Honourable mentions:

Riverside - Shrine of New Generation Slaves
This Town Needs Guns - 13.0.0.0.0
La Coscienza di Zeno - Senzitivita
Nemo - Le ver dans le fruit
Ulver- Messe I.X--VI.X
