Hi,
Burning Shed runs the official site/store for Panegyric, the label behind The Road To Red.
We're UK based and have better rates to the UK and Europe.
Here's the link to the Panegyric store:
https://www.burningshed.com/store/panegyric/
There are also other releases just available on the label that may be of interest.
The Steven Wilson mix of Close To The Edge (cd/blu-ray and cd/dvda) and the SW mix of XTC's Nonsuch (cd/blu-ray and cd/dvda).
Additionally, there's a separate release of the SW/RF 2013 stereo mix of Red, a 40th Anniversary version of King Crimson's USA, and a new vinyl version of Larks' Tongues In Aspic.
Regards,

Looks a fantastic package but I think I will need to hold off at that price especially in view of shipping costs as well to UK.

Steven Wilson and RF did the Red remix...guess you're all out of excuses |
Thank goodness, I always feel guilty having money in my pocket that could easily be given to Fripp and Co.

If he'd only just sell his songs on i-tunes maybe he wouldn't have to put out these expensive fanboy box sets--- I know I'd be more likely to buy songs this way than to spring for 225 dollar package.

This is purely for completist - fanboys. |
I collected vinyl Crimson bootlegs in the 70's... Then I joined the King Crimson Collector's Club in the 90's... Now I bought The Road to Red...
Guilty as charged

Wow, 21 discs. $225. Oh, Lordy-Lordy.
I must admit my Eno/Floyd/Beatles/Crimso listening days are probably over. Nonetheless, I'll look into it a bit more.

Well, I made it exactly 2 hours, 14 minutes, and 38 seconds before I pulled the trigger and ordered this. The remixed Red and multi mixes of USA should be fun, but it's the 20 CD's made up of 16 shows I've never heard, 5 of them complete performances that sealed my fate. I feel like the cat that just ate the canary!

Too much for me, I've already got Great Deceiver, Brescia & Asbury, I don't think this is justifiable for me.

Just got an exciting email from Discipline Global Mobile (RF's record label). There's a 24 disc box set on the horizon called "The Road to Red". According to the description, "every soundboard quality recording known to exist [between April and July 1974] is presented with audio fully restored all released on CD for the first time." There will be 16 concerts spread across 20 discs including 5 complete shows. A new stereo mix of Red (from RF and Steven Wilson). Also, a DVD, a couple Blue Ray discs, and an album sized booklet filled with cool stuff.
If you're a fan of the Great Deceiver box set, this could be in your sweet spot!
And the price? $225. That works out to about $9.40/CD
They're accepting pre-orders now...you can read the details yourself here:
