Damn. I won't be getting any Christmas cards this year.

It sounds like it could result in harassing of people who voted the wrong way, so I vote an emphatic yes.

That would be an advantage for me too.
Off-topic: I saw this off-topic ProgArchives.com Advertisment post between ours which I haven't seen before. |
You had me refreshing the page about four times looking for a banner ad.
Yes, well, I should probably change it. It's over a year old now.

Not a banner ad. I was on my iPod and saw a post with (username equivalent) "Progarchives.com" (member-title equivalent) "Advertisement "advertising a Galaxie iPhone app (also saw it advertised on this Comodo Dragon PC browser before logging in right between my opening post and your post.. It says "Sponsored links (registered users, log in to remove). If you log out and aren't using ad blockers, then check this topic,, you might well see it as the second post in this topic. Even with an adblocker, but logged out, the post will come up by the automated "Progarchives.com" user equivalent, but not the ad itself. When I fist saw it cursorily, I thought "spam" post, should delete, but then I noticed that it's official "spam" (I call it spam simply because it's a post that was advertising something and had nothing to do with the topic, so I don't mean to sound derogatory towards that kind of processed meat which generates revenue).
M@X did some upgrades, apparently, so I thought this might be some new, exciting ad form for this forum.

Neat, I didn't know that. I would definitely like the ability to see who voted for what.

We get a lot of silent voters in polls, and sometime people horsing around, and I've wondered if it were possible, if it would be good to generate a record of the user-names that vote in ProgArchives polls (with their vote indicated ideally, I think).
