Great idea for a poll! Sexy Sadie just to mix it up.

The concise storytelling and imagery of Eleanor Rigby makes it deserve my vote. I am glad to see it leading. What a great song!

Voted for Michelle, though "Eleanor Rigby" is deeper, but she's not a girl in common sense I guess.

Goin' with the sexiest of songs, Sexy Sadie. Also, I recommend to ANY fan of Beatles the Beatles Mono Box Set. The way the Beatles were supposed to be heard.

Before I saw the options I thought of Jane Asher!
Some great songs but hte clear winner for me is Eleanor Rigby.
Superbly constructed song from a brilliant album

Martha My Dear
What's with the covers? They're about girls but not written by any Beatle.

And Prudence takes the lead.
(Siouxsie did a good job with Prudence too.)

That girl who came in through the bathroom window. Whatshername. She caught me and we did it in the road. Penny Lane, I believe. We were a couple of piggies too! It was a day in the life I'll never remember.

Gandalff, you seem to never run out of ideas I can go all day listening to the beautiful Martha My Dear. A close second is the quiet Julia and of course Dear Prudence.

So, Yoko wasn't a girl but twice divorced woman and mother, when she's met John.

Do you still think Sadie was a chap? OK, the first version of this song was about Maharishi Mahesh Yogi , their Indian guru, but because later disillusion about him, Lennon has changed the lyrics completely.
