Excellent space music that's (small p) progressive.  Yes, to be sure.

I like DEAD CAN DANCE quite a lot and their music is often featured on the Hearts Of Space radio show. http://www.hos.com/index.html  A musical resource that lovers of good music ought to know.

But is their music (large P) Prog RocK?  I would have to say that it is not.  That's no knock on them or their craft.

Surprisingly i found that the great band dead can dance are not in progarchives, arent they progressive rock or i misunderstood their music Cry

when i sell my life story, maybe i should write it first and do the living later 'cause life is so much cleaner on the page
