Soccer, but really I feel about the same between soccer and basketball. I never watch sports, ever.

And I must add that I really dislike... No, I HATE FOOTBALL!
So, if I can be so upset about that "Soccer/Football" thing, it must mean something.
Actually, he is correct. The word "soccer" is used in all English speaking countries as an alternative word for football, so that includes UK, Australia and NZ which are not part of the US as far as I know, (then I haven't read a newspaper for a couple of days).

Soccer is also used "Officially" through-out the whole world, including South America (including Peru) and most of Europe (including England and France, but not Wales) for the game of Beach Football, or Beach Soccer as it is officially known.

I'm not enamoured by football myself, I watch the occasional world cup match - the idea of beach soccer sounds sounds as sensible as beach volleyball.

What?

baseball is not in the poll though, it is a bat sport, not a team vs team sport with on ball/puck, and a score shedule, a bat sport with different positions and different taskes in the sport, for those who play it,

Oh, and be sensible, guys: handball is more awesome than soccer/football AND baseball combinated.
I actually hate the way some guys just presume you like football and talk about last nights match.

A day in court with Ivan. Evidence galore and quotes up the wazoo

Well, read my post said officially

1.- This is the official site of Football Association in the UK

2.- This is the BBC

3.- The same Sky Sport (you posted) seccion about Football is:

5.- This is the description of the Premiere League:

Quote

The Premier League is the organising body of the Barclays Premier League with responsibility for the competition, its Rule Book and the centralised broadcast and other commercial rights.

However, we do not operate in isolation, instead we work proactively and constructively with our Member Clubs and the other football authorities to improve the quality of football both in England and across the world. Here is who we work with:

The Member Clubs of the Premier League

The Premier League is a private company wholly owned by its 20 Member Clubs who make up the League at any one time. Each individual club is independent: working within the rules of football, as defined by the Premier League, The FA, Uefa and Fifa as well being subject to English and European law.

Dean also mentioned something.:

Street basket

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2053/2395980331_72cdc59e3f.jpg

instead of 5, you got 3 players, half the playing field, (one basket), more rougher and physical, on concrete fields so you need good sneekers and sun lotion

i have played it many times and sucks hard at it, but i have done some incredible 3 points, actualy

It's slang for one those people that walk around naked in the big cities during the winter and say stuff like: I was originally raised on Pluto.
