Hmm...i think that supper's ready, shine on you crazy diamond, close to the edge, and gates of delirum really are great strong example of prog rock.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

I voted Close to the Edge
And here are my top 10 prog tracks (at least for the hour):
1 - Yes - South Side of the Sky
2 - Pink Floyd - Shine On you Crazy Diamond
3 - Genesis - In The Cage
4 - ELP - Karn Evil 9
5 - King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man
6 - Yes - Close to the Edge
7 - Genesis - Supper's Ready
8 - Yes - Gates of Delirium
9 - Genesis - Dancing with the Moonlit Knight
10 - José Cid - Mellotron o Planeta Fantástico
It's really hard so choose a best track, for several reasons. The first reason would be the length of the songs, Karn Evil 9 is a complete side with 8 minutes from side A, which, altough it's the same song, has three complete diferent parts; now, Comfortably Numb is only a 6 minutes song that is a part from the Wall part 2. What i'm saying is that songs like Supper's Ready or Close to the Edge make half an album, and a song like Aqualung belongs to a album concept. It was fun trying to rate tracks and very difficult to not choose tracks like Anne of Cleves - Rick Wakeman wich i couldn't separate from the whole album. Anyway here's my list.
