I first though I watched the riots in athen, the demonstration against the greek tax policies, but then they said that it was in Canada in Vancouver and that sort of un-sportmanhip is childish (and are not good rolemodels for kids) they should punish with empty seats on the next 4 or 5 Vancouver games, it was worts then Hooligans it was vandalisme of worse sort, when the police have to use pepper spray and tear gas then it is more then some uhappy fans, it is criminla behaviour..

Our little Tim Thomas has grown up to be the MVP of the Stanley Cup finals. I got to watch him as a young pup goalie playing for the Detroit Vipers. He was quite horrible then. I can't tell you how many "empty net" goals were scored on him because he wandered to far from the net to either get loose pucks that the other team beat him too, or skate out to meet an opposing player on a breakaway and having the opposing player just skate around him and score. We used to scream at the coach to put a leash on him to tie him to the net so he couldn't wander. It really is amazing to me that all of these years later he is an all-star goalie and now the playoff MVP. Congrats to him and the Boston Bruins. It is nice to see an Original Six team win the Cup again, and although the Boston area has had more than their fair share of Championships in recent years, 39 years is a loooooooooooong time to wait.

I think the Canucks have a good shot. The home team hasn't lost in this series yet. Plus the Bruins have won in like 3 decades.

Yeah, at least they were classy enough in the building to cheer when they were lifting the Cup. They booed Bettman though, but that's good. |

Yes, i was right on the button! I had the feeling that the Bruins were about to win their first road game. I would have been disappointed to see a team giving so many goals win the series. |

I has a sad.
Mike, I personally believe that a small group of hooligans is making an entire city look bad. I am disappointed, but I still think the majority of the city is rad. |

I would like to apologize on the behalf of all of Vancouver for the poor sportsmanship that we have displayed. What a f**king embarrassment.

No surprise Thomas got the MVP. Great job by the Bruins. They definitely earned it!
