Riverside for me. I don't like PoS much... I'll try to listen to them again sometime, but they've never clicked with me

Can't vote as I have not heard any PoS. Rush vs Porcupine Tree will be exciting though.

No vote. I've had Riverside on the little list I take into record stores but haven't had any luck finding a copy of anything. I agree with the early commentator that PoS is a deeply unfortunate set of initials. Off to the sidelines, eyeing the papers for odds on the next round.

If this carries on, my favourite subgenre will be represented in the semi-finals by a band I don't even like...

Some time ago I would have said PoS, but I'm much more into Riverside right now than I used to. Plus, I didn't like PoS last release very much. |
Exactly this, Riverside continues to grow and evolve whereas I like PoS less and less with each release.

Definitely Riverside... probably the only traditional prog-metal band I really enjoy.

PoS is such an unfortunate abreviation.
Voted Riverside.

See, Pain of Salvation is one of those bands that I keep trying to get into and repeatedly don't have any luck, "Be" being the only one that I really like despite owning five of their CD's. Riverside on the other hand is a band that I really like.
My vote goes to the guys from Poland.

That's really hard...
nonetheless, I think I have to give it to PoS. They're simply too good.

Riverside - loved Out of Myself and Second Life Syndrome, and saw them live a few years ago at a small gig in London, and met the band in the bar afterwards, so that will do for me.
