My band Until Sunrise just recorded a track for an upcoming release called The Circle Project, which will be a free download. I'm very proud of this track, so let me know if you think it's good:

I would recommend the "A Cheery Wave From Stranded Youngsters"  post-rock, instrumental and math-rock compilations on bandcamp. At least four are out.

The fourth and first can be found here:  http://fliesarespiesfromhell.bandcamp.com/

As is post rock band Sioum - http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=38601. This one's well worth a download imho. And with a title like, "I Am Mortal, But Was Fiend", you know you can't go wrong Smile

All top quality free post rock albums, some verging more on ambient, but still qualify. Seriously, at the least give a couple of these a listen :)

I have way more than this as well, I just don't have the time to post anything else right now, sorry!

Hey, I saw this thread and was pretty amazed at the detail and had to join these forums to thank you!

I was also wondering if it would be acceptable to ask you to judge and hopefully add my band to this list too? I'm not sure if it's appropriate to ask for it here, but I hope you would consider us Mathy enough. My hope is to get as much exposure to people who appreciate the genre!

Some of the songs are free to download some are not, I'm not really in charge of the bandcamp. That falls under my buddies area, but here it is!

BandCamp

Thanks,

Vladimir

Index updated.

Jon, it's not a free download, only a Bandcamp streaming, but you should love it: Hella's recent album, Tripper.
