You'd need to spend six months in quarantine first Tony!

I'm not likely to meet anyone living in deepest darkest Grimsby, in deepest darkest Lincolnshire, but fingers crossed next year I'll be living in Surrey and probably travelling to London relatively often so maybe there'll be some signs of life/prog there

You shoulda bought tix to Cal-Prog. It would have been worth the trip.

Every try Tatonka at BJ's Brewery? As stout as Guinness but at 8.1%.

|
Oh yeah! I've had a few pints of that... had a damn hard time walking afterwards, but it is good. Fresno just opened a BJ's Brewhouse on Shaw near Fresno State. EVERY waitress in the place is drop dead sexy.

Hehe You only need two of that beer.
They just opend one of these in Corona near Stacy's house. Guess where we are going after work?
I looked it up. They have one in Cerritos about 12.1 miles from Calprog.

I've met a couple of members on this board. First, I've hung out at a couple of shows here in NYC with Maani... and me and the other ELP fanatic... RichardH... have seen a few shows together in London.
I get around....
So if anyone is going to that Porcupine Tree show at Irving Plaza tonight...the Marillion acoustic at the Bowery or Nearfest ... try and find me...

Sounds like a good plan.
I think the place you're talking about is the River City Brewing Company.
There's another new excellent brew pub in town--Pyramid Brew Pub has opened in downtown Sac which is a good place to hang out and taste different beers.
So, yeah, let me know when you're in town and we'll make a plan.

Hey, if any of you all live in Northern California, I'd be glad to meet up to hoist a few and play a few prog rock classics! |
I'm smack dab in the middle of Cali... 60 miles north of Fresno. Where are you? I'd wouldn't mind swilling a few pints and waxing philosophic on progs finer moments.
|
Well, then you must be pretty close to Sacramento, which is where I live. How about yourself? As for meeting to swill pints, sounds good, I love to wax philosophical, one of my favorite pastimes.
|
I live right in between you guys.
|
I get up to Sac a couple of times a year. Usually on business. I'll let you know when I'm heading that way and we'll have a couple of pints.
Ever been to Makuni's in Folsom. Best sushi around...
The brewery outside Old Town has a good stout.
Cyggy can join in, but he'll have to stick with soda.

Never met another progarchive member but might have smelt a few at times...
...maybe Velvetclown on a recent visit to North Wales.
