"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."

I literally can't believe what I'm hearing. I've waited almost two decades to hear this song...very demotastic, but with some real flashes of brilliance. I wonder what the story behind the leak is? Needless to say Queen Productions will be slipping radioactive isotopes into someone's sushi.........

This might be one of the greatest days in the post-Freddie Queen era. If this is the real thing, there are really no words to describe it. At last! the full Face it Alone: |

How can I express how much I love this band? Caught a lot of flak in my youth for being a Queen fan, actually...but the adoration won out. Freddie is simply unparalleled, and Brian's guitar work leaves me drooling. Especially on Brighton Rock.
Shame about the Queen+Paul Rodgers album, though. |

Queen is one of my favorite bands ever, although their eighties output became pretty patchy. Brian May is the reason I wanted to learn to play guitar and Freddy Mercury was a performer without equal. Queen II is one of the best albums ever.

Nice! Brian is my ultimate guitar hero. The way that he can make that old fire place around his neck talk is still mind-blowing after almost 40 years. Had the privilege to see and hear that 3 meters in front of me.
That being said, Roger is still my favourite. |

I think Brian is my favorite member of Queen. Dude's a genius and about any guitarist would know it was him just by his tone. Plus, I like his shoes he wore on stage. |

Uuuuh! A Kwien appreciashun thread! which was incredibly short lived for some reason.
So about the film, Sacha would've been beyond great had it not been for the height. Let's face it, the guy's a darn good actor. Now the question of the day is: who's going to play Rog? Edited by Lizzy - September 17 2010 at 15:43 |

Sacha should have played Brian.
I was not happy when I first heard the rumour, and now I'm actually worried, since I have seen Bruno. He's too tall anyway... |

I born in 84, so I didn't enjoy their active time... but it's amazing to see how they remain in every historical rock-countdown or top 10 or whatever... It's weird to see a successful band with that crazy music they played... Yeah, Mercury is probably the best rock'n'roll singer of all time... yes, they were the Champions... jejeje...

When Queen first appeared on the scene they were written off as "the last of the heavy rock bands", how wrong was that !
I was a huge Queen fan in the early 70's, and was lucky enough to see them live at Hammersmith in 1975 during their "Night at the Opera" tour in December of that year i think, when "Rhapsody" was high in the charts (remember charts?).
The whole show was constructed around the Rhapsody single and album, they were brilliant and i thought this would be their peak - until their live performance at Live Aid in 1985 where they stole the show!
