^No, she is still alive. The name of the woman is Clare Torry. According to Wikipedia, she claimed co-authorship of The Great Gig in 2005 (32 years after its release):

You can't dance on prog. You can't use prog as background music. Prog's intricacy makes you focus on the music rather than being able to talk with the partner. Not to mention the partner will usually hate prog. How the hell is prog even capable of getting you to foreplay?
