That's terrible news. He is a master behind the kit. Hope for the best for him and hope he doesn't have too much pain.

Too bad for him, as he also suffers from tinnitus, but this sounds worse.

Terrible news, hope there's still something that could be done, but hope at least he can go about his daily routine without much pain.

Phil Collins says he'll never drum again because of a
spinal injury. He admitted he "can't even hold the sticks properly
without it being painful" (Daily Mirror).
