Yes, yes!:
Chrissie Hynde (sultry, raunchy and sweet at the same time)
Bonnie Raitt (plays a mean slide guitar)
Joni Mitchell (very innovative)
Annie Haslam (an un-earthly voice)
Chris McVie (the classy side of the Mac)
No, no!:
Madonna (just a showoff)
Stevie Nicks (great at first, later started to sound like a billygoat)
Annie Wilson (an annoying voice, I'd rather hear nails on a chalkboard)
J-Lo (just a nice butt, not bad actress though)
Debbie Harry (ok in her heyday, but now BLAH!)

the best PROG female vocalists of all time!
Jerney Kaagman of Earth & Fire
unfortunately she never was coherant as STEVIE
NICKS and probably outclassed her stable mate,
Grace Slick(Jefferson Starship - Dragonfly is a
tossup)! Close call, she was excellent on "Song of
the Marching Children" which has a great
bonus track or two on the recent CD release.

I hate to say this on a prog forum, but I actually like Mandy Moore. I first was interested in her, because she's hot and was most popular at the peak of my puberty years. Now I have come to like a few of her songs, for newer, "teeny" music she is one of the few that uses background music (besides the same terrible beat as everyone else.) And her singing is pretty good.
