Come on guys. No more love for the bully?
(about to beat up Martin for being made king in the medieval festival) Mrs Krabappel: Not so fast Nelson! You're one of King Martin's Guards… HA HA!!! Nelson: You'll pay for this… (bows) My liege. Nelson: Ha-ha! Fight lupus! Milhouse: Hey, I'm very passionate about the planet. Nelson: [raises fist] Say global warming is a myth! Milhouse: It's a myth! Further study is needed! Nelson: [punches Milhouse] That's for selling out your beliefs! Also, if I had three wishes, one would be to have lots of money, one would be to make the best prog ever, and the other would be to be able to move one of my pupils up and down and from side to side when I was about to tell a lie. Torman Maxt is the greatest act ever. See? |

Jasper Beardly (liked him better without the last name)
"Damn fools! Drive Thru's not for a-parking."
"Slow down. The sidewalk's for regular walkin', not for fancy walkin'."
"It's an old fashion hole diggin'. Bygar, it's been a while."
"Moon Pie, what a time to be alive."

"Put out an APB on a Uosdwis R Dewoh. Uh, better start with Greektown."
Lou: "Gosh Chief, those dogs seem pretty angry"
Chief Wiggum: "Yea I've been teasing them, starving them, singing off key. Mo mi ma mo, mo mi mo mi, mo.." "The baby looked at you?"
Lou: That sounded like an explosion at the old Simpson place.
Chief Wiggum: Forget it. That's two blocks away. Lou: Looks like there's beer coming out of the chimney. Chief Wiggum: I am proceeding on foot. Call in a code 8. Lou: [on the radio] We need pretzels. Repeat, pretzels. Chief Wiggum: All right, where's Sideshow Bob and that guy who uh, eats people and takes their faces?
Prisoner: I'm right here, Chief. Chief Wiggum: OK, then. Where's Sideshow Bob? Prisoner: Eh, he ran off.
Chief Wiggum: Oh, great. Well, if anyone asks, I uh, beat him to death.
Chief Wiggum: Book 'em, Lou.
[points to the bear] Chief Wiggum: One count of being a bear. [points to Barney] Chief Wiggum: And one count of being an accessory to being a bear. |

Chief Wiggum might have, after Homer, the most one-liners of the show. Love that character.
"Oh yes? Lucky we where at this cabaret!"
"This is Papa Bear. Put out an APB for a male suspect, driving a... car of some sort, heading in the direction of, uh, you know, that place that sells chili. Suspect is hatless. Repeat, hatless"
"Marge: [on radio] Husband on murderous rampage. Send help. Over.
Chief Wiggum: Whew, thank God that's over. I was worried for a little bit. " |

All these classic characters and the Cat Lady is leading? what gives, she isn't a bad character but is one trick pony and the bulk of her existence has been in the dark ages of The Simpsons. I went with Ralph but after my finger hit the button I knew Moleman should have gotten my vote. Good Moleman to you.

Mr Montgomery Burns, without hesitation.
I LOVE his speech patterns, and all of his hopelessly outdated historical references ("invest in Amalgamated Spats," "take the 2:10 trans-Atlantic auto-gyro," etc, etc, etc.
Plus he's heartless ("Ah, these minstrels will soothe my jangled nerves." Then to Smithers, after The Ramones insult him in song: "Have the Rolling Stones killed!" Smithers: "But sir, those aren't the Rolling St..." Burns: "Do as I say!") -- what's not to like?
There are many great, well-developed characters, though. Two more include Otto (yelling "Zeppelin!" as his last word, as his bus drifts out to sea Lisa at the concert: "something smells like Otto's jacket" ) and Moe ("Hello, I'm your host, Moe Syzlac -- or as the ladies call me 'hey you in da bushes deah!'")
"Comic Book Guy" is great, too -- something tells me he'd fit right in here on PA.... Edited by Peter - January 18 2009 at 21:57 |

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy. |

The Crazy Cat Lady - perhaps because she reminds me of the Log Lady from Twin Peeks.
I think I met The Comic Book Guy in comic book store Santa Clara - I innocently asked about some Sandman figurines advertised on a poster behind the counter. In a very condescending voice he replied "It clearly says on the poster - available in the Fall" - I pointed to a Star Wars Poster on the wall next to it and asked when that film was due for release.

Was gonna go with Lenny and Carl because they are AWESOME! But then I started thinking about how ridiculous Principal Skinner is. He is so funny because he is oblivious, but also stern and stupid. Like when he had the red dot on his pants. HAHAH. Or when he walked into the girls bathroom, or tricked the bad kids into the basement, etc. The guy is hilarious.

Didn't see Sideshow Bob there, so I went with the Crazy Cat lady, but Krusty, the Comic Book Guy, the Sea Captain, Dr Nick and Disco Stu are cool too. So is Fat Tony.
I just like the Crazy Cat lady because she throws cats all the time (to paint, among other things).
