Interesting avatar!

My first three favourites are Grobschnitt, Eloy and Popol Vuh perhaps, but its really hard to say. I like much more bands from germany.

Two questions:

Where is Tangerine Dream (the best German group)?
Didn't we have this same poll just a while ago?

Do Tangerine Dream not count? (maybe new-age etc.) I prefer them to any of the bands in the list.
It's only knock and knowall, but I like it...

Hello Pedro,

Nice list, but don't you forgotten a few major bands?

A new one and already a star: RWPL.... great Prog with influences of Pink Floyd, Beatles and India spheres. 4 great albums, try "As God has failed" first and you'll be amazed, a real WishYouWereHere-stylish album.

Anyones Daughter and Ashra Temple are another two, i wish you had added.

i have selected different types of german bands for you to decide which ones you think to be the most interesting. I am very curious for the result, because, in my opinion, there is no favourite.
