Great news, looking forward to a new 5UU's. Apparently, it's been many years in the making and a labor of love on Dave K's part I imagine. I cannot image how he can even make a living with this music, although if I had my druthers, he's be as famous a drummer/performer as Phil Collins. Yes, that makes me NUTZ I suppose.

Discus Music delivers the good stuff again and releases the third album by Guy Segers's Eclectic Maybe Band, featuring Dave Newhouse, Michel Delville, Ángel Ontalva, Jean Pierre Soarez and Martin Archer in addition to a number of Univers Zero alumni.

Listened to HUE on Bandcamp. A very good one
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I've already gushed over them a bunch but these live albums that Tatsuya Yoshida and Risa Takeda have been putting out during the last months of the year are really something special. This one might just be my #1 favourite album of 2021.

My first listen to Ars de Er:

This will be in my top 20 for this year (probably top 10). Now I have to find the time to listen to their other 17 albums!

Hmm...I see the Luttenbachers album is sold out atm at wayside and apparently not available on bandcamp as a physical release. But I do plan to get it when it comes back in. Sad that Weasel isn't on drums, as the drums on the sample tracks at least are less exciting than usual for a TFL album, but I have most of the others, so I'm not stopping now.

A shame there does not appear to be a physical release.

New releases I've enjoyed this year so far:

Caio Csizmar's Decriptas

Jack Dupon's JackAQuinzeAns and La république dominicale du zoo

Still need to give the new Flying Luttenbachers album a listen (came in the mail two weeks ago)

This is excellent!

For a previous excursion by Ward into the brutal prog badlands, check out Power Trips by Deadly Orgone Radiation (an avant supergroup of Ward, James Sedwards and Weasel Walter):

EDIT: I initially had a typo “James Sexwards”. Not inappropriate.

This is excellent

Not completely bowled over, but there are many very good plus moments. Any chance there is a CD of this available?
