Iron Maiden,Magma,Spock's Beard and The Gathering would be my top four. Chose Iron Maiden because i have so much history with that band.

  Some of these bands are  NOTHING alike,   its apples and oranges all the way in the gentleman's bout  so cast your faithful dice ...  just a bunch I bundled together ...  this looks a bit like my MP3 player selection that I leave on shuffle when I walk the dog ... 

I think that me including Magma and not Yes , Tull , Crimson etc was done  in a curios manner ...    I like a close poll but without bands like Magma and a few other clear choice favorites listed in the poll ,  I doubt this poll would even generate any interest ...  I tip Magma will finish in the top three here (because I know the following they have on the site its pretty big)  however I`m voting Kansas and I would do so up against anybody despite the fact that they probably wont win.   Smile
