I hope I don't disappoint, I'm not the world's greatest reviewer hahahah.  Enjoying the album as I speak. Thanks!  I'll post the review here when I do it..  hopefully this weekend.. but have a big addition I'm working on so if it isn't this weekend.. it'll be sometime next week.  I like to really devour an album before reivewing it.

I got your PM and will send you the CD tomorrow morning.
Are there other reviewers as well I should send the CD to?

Thanks again

hahahha... did someone say free album?.. make sure you PM box is clear hahahhha.  I know Scott would love one.. but he is probably at a Tiger's ballgame right now.  My two team members who screened and approved you would surely love a copy. They really enjoyed your music as well.. unfortunately... they don't trust me with their addresses..  afraid they must be that I'd show up unannounced one day. .or just be a raving psychotic.

As reviewers are interested.. they'll contact you I'm sure.

Good to see that the crossover team enjoyed Mekhlin.  Not too many bands have come along my way lately that have fit the bill for PA so it is nice to see one that finally did.

Good guess on the baseball game.  The Tigers were in Baltimore this weekend, and I almost ended up on your doorstep (or Jody's), but decided on Chicago instead.  It was mostly a non-prog weekend, with a few small exceptions.  Walking the streets of Chicago I did pass a guy wearing an Umphrey's McGee t-shirt.  They were doing a gig Saturday night which I seriously considered going to, but ended up passing on.  While on Navy Pier I did see a guy wearing a Rush Caress of Steel t-shirt, and I saw a girl wearing a Queen/Freddy Mercury t-shirt.  (not to mention me wearing my Queen and Rush t-shirts).  And of course, a weekend vacation would not be complete without a stop at the music store, which netted me what I expect to be some pretty awesome prog purchases.  I picked up VDGG's Aerosol Grey Machine, Judas Priest's Nostradamus, Mars Volta's Scab Dates, Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Beethoven's Last Night (couldn't resist for $2.99); Oblivion Sun (for $3.99); a couple of Coheed and Cambria albums;Galahad's Empires Never Last; and Miriodor's Parade + Live at Nearfest.  I'm not sure yet if this will be a major bust or prog heaven since I am not a big VDGG or TMV fan.

ooohhhh...  you did get yourself a nice haul there... ...

I do need to get that Judas Priest album......

let me know what you think that Oblivion Sun album...

I saw after I posted that they were here in Baltimore..    if ever you do end up in my neck of the woods.. let me know...  have plenty of space to take in the PA's traveler to the beautiful  DC area.

Anyway, keeping the links for the songs in a public forum may empty your wallet, Rasmus... if someone is really/truly interested he/she may ask you via PM, ok? Smile

Hehe Smile
What do you mean empty my wallet? Pirates? If so, I think it would be the best way ever to get our music spread? Smile
Anyway they'll have to do with the mp3's then :-) Just send me PM if anyone wants the .wav files for review.

I will save one for him :-) It's not a big issue whether it will be 10 or 11 CD's anyway. :-)

Haha, yes I did. Smile

I could send a CD to anyone writing a review? I can upload the .wav files and post direct links here, so the songs can be listened to in full quality for review. Whenever someone writes a review we'd be happy to send a free cd as "reward". Of course we'd like some of the most renowned reviewers on here to write as it would give (possible?) positive reviews more punch. Smile
I must say that I have no idea how many reviewers will write but I think the limit of CD to be sent overseas will be 10 or so :-)

Again, thank you very much :-)

Leaving Tuesday for a couple of weeks so when you have the bio and information ready... send it to Dean or Chris and they'll add the band for you.  Great suggestion.

Hey Micky and Scott

I'm Rasmus, the guitarist from Mekhlin, who wrote the email to Atkingani. In his reply to me he attached the link to this thread so we could follow your discussion. We're very glad that you liked our music.  Progarchives' opinion is very important to me as this is the place I go myself to find great music. :o)
You are very welcome to send an email to "mekhlin ( at) gmail.com" or write here, for any information you need to create our profile.

Here are the direct links to the songs from Manuscript:

We'd be happy to send you the physical CD as well so you'll have the higher quality .wav files. Just give me your adress. :-)

Is it possible that anyone of you here on Progarchives would write a review on Manuscript so we could use it on our website?

Thanks a lot

-Rasmus and Mekhlin
