I've patched this band to Xover, I wanna hear their opinion.
(In fact, I've patched it quite a while ago...) So far, Eclectic hasn't made a decisive vote on them, an opinion from Xover is just desired... |

Interesting music. Standby to find out if it's heading for Symphonic, Eclectic or Crossover. It's, anyway, discussed for inclusion.

The album will be released on March 15th (French is not my best language, but at least I can read most of it).
Not sure about the style based on the (certainly interesting) samples. I'll move them to Suggest pending the album release - with "Former Ange members" added to the thread title. To genre team members: please indicate if and where this would fit - I hear some folk influences, but also some symphonic and ethnic influences. Edited by Angelo - February 03 2008 at 10:22 |

Gens de la Lune is an interesting band. Their sound can be pretty different than anything else that comes to mind, which is mostly due to the madman vocalist (see song Le Guide on the myspace). The songs don't contain too much complexity, which is of course not a requirement. Their sound does vary through, it's a nice listen.
On their main website I see what I consider "hints" to an actual album, but I am unable to understand the language (makes me wish I was multilingual). If anyone could confirm/prove me wrong about an album, that'd be great. |
