Easy. "Welcome" sucks, "Us" is boring. Now, "Sheep" and "High Hopes" are both good, of course, but "One of These Days" is THE Pink Floyd song, in my humbled opine. Never got better 'n that, at least, not with the whole "avantgarde" trip.

This is not difficult poll, since anything from Animals wins by a mile. They reached a point in their career where everything was perfect. Too bad The Wall ruined it all.

"Sheep" for me - probably the best song on "Animals", and one of PF's masterpieces.

It wasn't that hard. The only choice I even considered other than Us and Them was Sheep....

"Us and Them" edges out "Welcome to the Machine".

I picked "One of These Days". First Floyd song I ever listened to, *sniff*.

I voted "Welcome to the Machine" just now. But I could have easily chosen "Us and Them"

I was never all that crazy about Sheep or One of These Days, even though I'm a Floydophile. Good but not great.
High Hopes is the best song I've heard without Waters, but....it's without Waters.
Us and Them is just beautiful. It's so beautiful I even liked it when Alan Parson's Project re-recorded it as Time.
![]() But I think Welcome To the Machine is unbelievable. I love the acoustic guitar, the vocals, the lyrics, the sound effects, and the synths. I think it's darn near perfect and I'm not quite sure why it isn't higher on the ladder in the minds of Floyd Fans. Too simple?

Choosing between Sheep and High Hopes was hard. In the end, Sheep signifies what Pink Floyd has accomplished better. Oh, and Animals is amazing.
