Jon Pertwee for me... I guess its down to my age...Smile
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Well 'Utopia' was a mixed bag for me- I found the majority of it to be very dull and cliched (lots of running around/shooting/pressing buttons, bickering between companions/characters, malevolent monsters) BUT the ending was amazing. I'd heard the spoilers but I didn't expect the reveal to be in this episode so it ended up being a surprise. I think it's a shame that Derek Jacobi didn't remain- he played the role amazingly, imho.

In that case I only need to send eps 7-10...right?

I always had a compelling urge to poke Jamie (Frazer Hines) in the eyes, and I have never seen the Three Stooges.

Patricks son himself became a well known Tv actor here and has had a long and varied career. Now Patricks grandson is quite famous, appearing in the new BBC Robin Hood.
I think Jon Pertwee's young lad Sean would make a good Doctor, but I understand he's not too keen on the idea himself.
What?

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Errrr.  I dunno how much postage would be, but I think it cost me $1.50 to send a cd to England.

That's ok Ian.  You haven't given away too much information.  And thanks for offering to send me copies, but I'll have all of the episodes by the end of August.  I can wait, but sadly I won't be able to take part in your Doctor Who thread.  Cry

Saturday was episode 11....the first of a three parter!Evil%20Smile

I just burned a DVD of episodes 7-10, and before that 3-6.

I can easily send my homeade copy if you wish. But I understand that the real thing is better.

Ugh.  I hope the next DVD with episodes 4-6 gets here soon.

I'm going to keep quiet. I don't want to spoil it for you...but this is so great. I'm amazed its not on on the States sooner.

I could send you a copy of what I've recorded I suppose?

Edit.....I'm a darn fool...etiquette....I should have warned with a SPOILER ALERT on my post...sorry Doc.

Edit 2...I may make a Dr Who series 3 thread tomorrow, which you can then avoid!Big%20smile

I think you better fix the voting you can vote more than once, I found this out when I found I could vote for Jon Pertwee three timesBig%20smileConfusedOuchShocked
Embarrassed

I intentionally left the voting open to multiple votes so that people could pick their favorite two or three.  Oh, and I always thought the same thing about Patrick Troughton's Doctor.  I was always waiting for him to poke Jamie in the eyes and go nyuck nyuck.  LOL
