Camel may be my favorite from the symphonic bands from UK. It's sad news indeed. I wish him the very best and hope he recovers.
What is with all of this sad news this month? |

Tragic news....I remember a great Camel gig I attended in 1977 or 78 at Salford University. Andy was on mesmerising form that day...

Well I just read up on myelofibrosis a little because I haven't heard of it, and things don't look good for Andy. The disease will require chemotherapy and bone-marrow transplants. This is very sad news, my thoughts will be with him and his family. |

Very, very sad news. Camel are my fave band after Yes and Genesis. My thoughts are most definitely with Andy and his family now.

I cought this on another forum - no news on the Camel website as yet. The latest newsletter mentions that Andy has been diagnosed with Myelofibrosis.
Prognosis poor I'm afraid
