I've seen a couple episodes of it before, but I didn't particularly care for it. I don't even know if it's still on or not.
|
Only 13 episodes were made before the network it was on cancelled it.Adult Swim shows it sometimes, but they are pretty inconsistent about it.I thought it was a pretty good adult cartoon,it was pretty off the wall. |
I liked that show a lot. After watching Adult Swim a lot I think I've seen most of the 13 episodes.

The second season is even more outrageous. There is even a two part episode featuring David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and Klaus Nomi.

Cool, responses....
Personally, I love it. Yea, it's pretty formulated, and nothing but jokes....but I just think it is hilarious.
And as South Park said itself......."At least Family Guy dosn't get all upitty and preachy".

It's good, although the formula kind of annoys me. It's a show of flashbacks. I prefer both South Park and Futurama, but it's not a bad cartoon.

I like it, but I could do without the parts that involve God. Really disrespectful, in my opinion.
Still, some parts will have me absolutely rolling.

I love it. Some of the more recent episodes have been disappointing, but Seasons 4, 5 and 6 are far from poor, though. Some of the episodes have been just as good as those in 1-3.

Tedious rubbish. Poorly written, poorly directed, ill-conceived and moronic. There are so many countless better cartoons to be watched. It baffles me how it remains so popular.

I still think the best western cartoon is either Futurama or Dangermouse. hated Family Guy mostly because the writers realised they were being so daring and taboo-breaking that it's just a contrived way of stringing together a bunch of jokeless but varyingly offensive sketches without the need for exposition.

To add on to my opinion, I think that had the show never been canceled to begin with, it could have continued to be good, but the layoff just killed it. The first three seasons were genius, it could have had so much more potential if it was never canceled.
