The End is one of my favorite Doors tunes,so the choice is pretty easy.

Light my fire is great but not my favorite. The End is a marvelous jamming passed on as a song, with some great parts but not a real song structure to speak of... It's between the sheer elegance, the class, the finesse of Riders on the Storm and the trip, the voyage through music that is When the Music's over. I guess I'll go with this last one.

he he.
I don't care much about the end, but the choice between the other three is kind of impossible.
EDIT: Wow The end is winning by a landslide! I thought all tracks would get at least 15% of the votes.

He-he, an impossible one. Absolutely impossible. The very fact of voting means you have to rule out three out of these four. Personally, I can't do it.

Don't ask me why I picked The End. Light My Fire was more revolutionary for it's time than epic material, unless by epic you mean long. The Soft Parade would have been a good option, too.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

The End although the choice was tough.

It is The End for me, and Riders on the Storm comes in second.
But all are great !

All 4 are epics from The Doors.
Which one is your favorite?
Moderators: You can move this to the "prog related" section. I put it here because I cannot create a poll in there for some reason.
