This isn't fair! It's hard for me already! I guess it'll have to be Thing Fish (please let Them or Us stay)

I disagree with you there. Tongue

Ship's middle is fantastic IMO. And Joe's Garage is one of my favorites, especially Act I. Thing-Fish is about a three star album. Hilarious, good musicianship, great vocal performances...the only thing I really don't like is the reworked tracks, but some of them are decent. All in all, solid stuff. Thumbs Up
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

Thank you, somebody finally gets me! Hehe I really don't see what the whole uproar over it is, I prefer it to Joe's Garage and Ship easily.

I will admit that the CD remaster does have one of the worst sounds I ahve heard studio-wise, but the vinyl is much better and it is quite an original piece that works well in FZ's collectionSmile

It works well - in a completionist collection.Wink It's just not something that I would normally listen to - I'd prefer Thing Fish anytime (and I think that Thing-Fish is essentially a failed experiment).

Shocked... I'm surprised, Joren. You have more Zappa albums than me and yet you've never heard Thing-Fish... I'm not saying you're missing anything, but still...Shocked

Oh Joren is in on this too?LOL

Well Cyg, now you can tell I'm really running out of Zappa to buy because I just bought Cheap Thrills yesterdayWink

Once again, my vote goes to "Ship Arriving Too Late To Save A Drowning Witch". I just feel it is overly commercialized and a stain on FZ's catalogue. Plus 'Valley Girl' just makes me wanna throw-upSmile
