I know many don't think ELO as prog, which album do you think is their best? The Roy Wood era is is probably more prog, but many songs leave me cold. On The Third Day, gives a passing nod to post Wood and a clear indication Jeff Lyne is the boss. Eldorado, is a favourite of mine, as is Face the Music. Who used to play Fire on High backwards, on their turntables, to hear the secret message? A new World Rcord seems to be aimed at an American audience, excellent all the same, and Out Of The Blue is their best selling album to date, but long past their prog roots, and Discover was a disco album that made mega bucks. Time pulled things around, but by then the band ahd started to pull in different directions and Lynne was by now a morethan proficient producer, hence the Travelling Willbouries (sorry for the spelling).
