Sebastian Bach would be a terrible choice. He is arrogant and notoriously difficult to work with.If he couldn't get along with Henning Pauly he can't get along with anyone.

Well, I'm a big DT fan and I don't like the idea of LaBrie's Death, yes, this question has been asked a hundred million times, but I'm still answering it. I'd like to see Bruce Dickinson or Sebastian Bach with Dt, they absolutely rock.

In the past I've made no secret of my antipathy toward Labrie's voice in a live setting - in the studio he has a tremendous voice, but in a studio he can do 2nd takes. On live albums & when I've seen them in concert, I've always found his voice hit & miss, sometimes embarrassingly so.
But then, what do I know? I prefer Derek Sherinian to Baldy Rudess...

I posted this earlier: LaBrie is great on "Score"; I don't know how big of a DT fan you are, but I would urge you to check that set out, it's the best live recording ever from the band.

I have a dislike for Rudess as well. Moore was my favorite DT keyboardist due to his darkness. Sherinian had some great chops and offered more than Moore, no pun intended.

I liked Ark quite a bit, with the exception of the religious lyrics. Those other bands you listed, same type of music?

Is that the guy from Ark?

ARK, Masterplan, Beyond Twilight, Mundanus Imperium, Brazen Abbot, The Snakes, Millenium, plus a bunch of solo albums under the name Jorn. That's the guy indeed.
Actually, he also released an album together with Russell Allen last year, The Battle. Pretty good, although I think Allen's compositions and lyrics kind of drag it down and keep it from being a remarkable work.

Yeah, I know, but just for the fun of it, who would you choose to replace Allen in SX ?

If Labrie HAD to be replaced I would definitely say John Arch. His impressive EP A Twist of Fate shows that his voice is in fine working order after almost 16 away from music..Geoff Tate is a terrible choice, his voice is nothing like it used to be,he just doesn't have the range anymore.
