All of they are awsome... but i don't put Muse in MY list. I don't know them too good. Any way, the other bands are incredible...

Greetings

If There's Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead or Tool, Where's Symphony X? I refuse to vote...

Slightly better poll choices than usually, I was forced to choose Opeth, although they are hardly the favourite to me, taking their post-MAYH sound into account.

TOOL is my favorite modern progressive band.  Followed by...
Radiohead
Porcupine Tree
The Mars Volta
Godspeed You Black Emperor
Tortoise
Ozric Tentacles(been around since 1982)...so maybe not that modern
Opeth
I consider Massive Attack to be very progressive (Mezzanine and 100th Window are both amazing albums)

I'm having trouble deciding between Opeth, PT, and Radiohead

I think I'm going to go with Opeth because their latest release impressed me the most.

But yeah like somebody said, where is Godspeed?

Radiohead? Muse? Radiohead? Muse? Radiohead? Muse?...what to choose...
I guess Radiohead as they really push ...or started pushing the boundaris so bands like Muse could be...Wink

The Mars Volta.

But Tool is a close second.

What about Godspeed You Black Emperor?

Oh boy,I've created a poll,where I CAN'T vote!!!They're all stunning(except for RADIOHEAD maybe,he-he...)!!!

note:I meant not just newer bands, but bands pushing prog boundaries forward...anyway,if you decide to vote for somebody whom I haven't included I won't take it as offence!
