Each one has his own style and voice, so Anderson isnt better than Plant, Plant isnt better than Lee, Lee isnt better than Anderson....
All of them can reach high notes, and i love all of them...
My vote is for my favorite... still Jon Anderson

Although I love Plant, Anderson has a more unique voice. Not that Plant doesn't have unique voice, he definetly does!

Jon Anderson, although my favourite prog singer is Greg Lake, despite his badly-aching voice.

I think Robert Plant actually sounds even better today, you should hear some of his recent work.

Plant was very good in his early years (1969-1975) , but after that his voice lost many of its skills.
I pick Jon Anderson.

They are all great singers, although different. Anderson is the most melodic of them all, while Plant is suited both to blues-rock and straight hard/heavy rock. However, my vote went to Lee, especially after I heard him live two years ago. He's an awesome vocalist and a very expressive one, who interprets Peart's lyrics perfectly. Now that he's adopted a lower register (in the '70s he could be a little hard to take after a while), he's become one of the very best. And what a bassist! |
Fully agree, so my vote went to the incredible Mr. Lee as well.
That said, both Mr. Anderson and Mr. Plant are awesome singers as well. |
And I don't have other words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For always yours, Mandrakeroot.

In terms of vocals, Anderson > Lee > Plant. However, I prefer Anderson's bassist bandmate over all of them in the same category.

Plant's bluesy voice is the best, followed close by Lee ...
