Red for me, because I like King Crimson at least 10X more than I like Yes, although I still love Yes...
The Yes Album is a good album of course, but to me Red is an album that is completely classic and everyone should own it--I can't personally say the same about the Yes Album

Is this some kind of joke? I mean, I like The Yes Album, but to compare it to Red? First of all King Crimson is the most innovative and interesting band of all time. Red is Fripp's greatest masterpiece from the 1970's. If you were asking about Close to the Edge, or Relayer then it might be worth talking about, although Red is still much greater than those albums as well. If you think the title track is "basic" then you need to listen to it again. |
No I think I would know considerin I can play the track with the guitar on my shoulders!!!
And I'll never be able to do that with Yours is no Disgrace!!!

Both excellent albums, though I find The Yes Album more even and complete than Red. But overall: Can't really decide.

Side two, 'Ive Seen All Good People', 'Perpetual change', I think these are equal to the tracks on the first side, nearly All great tracks though
