I don't know what your opinions are on this, but I think Chicago should be
added on under Prog-related perhaps. Their first three albums are
wonderfully crafted! Even some of teir later ones were proggy. Of course
after Kath died they kinda went downhill but thats at least 10 pretty
solidalbums for prog relation.

Don´t get me wrong I love QUEEN  but I think BOWIE has more prog elements in his music, if you don´t think so, see the evolution with his music, every album has something different.

And you know Queen II?

What about 10cc, I'm surprised no one has even mentioned them.  Sheet Music and The Original Soundtrack are both very progressive albums and I never hear them mentioned on this site.  Maybe it's because they're simply too damn catchy to be considered prog, or maybe it's because the band index is A-Z and discriminates against the alphabet-challenged prog bands like 10cc?  Either way they need to be included!

Muse are a damn sight more prog than Rush and noone questions Rush's right to be here.

But Iron Maiden? Ridiculous. And don't even consider Wishbone Ash - I'm one of their biggest fans and would love to give Argus et al 5* - but they ain't prog. Brilliant, but not prog.

Not these arguements again...
One likes to believe
In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion
Of integrity

Early Metallica and Iron Maiden deserve being include in prog-related, or proto-prog metal, or prog metal, or the subgenre you want, but include them it's a prog's duty. Their influence in prog metal bands is obvious.

You ever listened to Absolution?

If that album doesnt deserve to get them in at least as Prog-Related,I dont know what does.
Judge with your ears not by reading the label...
