I play piano and synth, For piano I mostly play classical stuff ( I hope to go to college and major in it.) and in the (actually not very good) school jazz band. I have a duo "Progressive Electronic" type project with another Synth player called 10 Seconds of Forever. I am  influenced by JS Bach, Sun Ra, Tim Blake and Hawkwind; Though I dont have near the proficiency of Bach and Sun Ra.

I play keyboards and a bit of guitar. I'm really not skilled at all, but I know how to work with my limits and record some decent stuff, including prog songs and epics.

The first 3 are among my best songs, the 4th is just a new one, though I consider it a bit flawed which is disappointing as it carries my "alias" name.

I was bored. I just grabbed my brothers guitar and my bass and tried to make something of it. It is noise. Heres a link if you want to listen:

Hello

I'm a keyboard player and prog-esque songwriter.  I'm quite heavilly influenced by Yes, ELP  etc (though I don't profess that kind of virtuosity)

If anyone is in the slightest bit interested, you can hear some of my stuff at myspace

or a wider selection at soundclick

I would (humbly) suggest you try Don't give up on Love or Fantasy Bridge as the most proggy stuff there, or maybe Parallel Processing.

Cheers

Sounds like me, but I play bass, am learning piano, dabble in guitar, can play a simple beat on drums. And I play improvisation/noise as well Tongue

Well I play bass and used to have sort of a band, but that was before I was into prog. We played some goofy Primus type sounding stuff. Now I don't have a band and just write music myself (you can check out the song I'm working on now in the thread titled "My Composition") I'm looking for people to play with that are talented and like the same music I do and the style of music I write. It's hard to find people like that here though, especially keyboard players  Cry  Some of my material is also here: www.myspace.com/populationoverride

I play bass guitar as my main instrument and I am learning to play piano, which I take lessons. My main bass player influences are Geddy Lee, John Wetton, Stanley Clarke, and a few others but if you were to visit my crappy meager music myspace I am sure you cannot hear nay of these but rather useless noise Big%20smile

I also want to form a band but can't find a prog influenced drummer in London. or guitarist for that matter.

Oh my music myspace:

enter if you dare and don't say I didn't warn you. Also add me to your friends, I seem to be lacking in them at this moment

oh also forgot my influences: Al Di Meola, Allan Holdsworth, George Benson, Frank Gambale, Robben Ford (jazz and blues)..  Oscar Herrero, Juan Serrano, Paco De Lucia & Juan Martin (flamenco)... though I'm mainly in a blues style I'm trying to practice on more complex harmonies and different scales (harmonic minor, diminished, etc)... also have some Hackett influence

Also just learning some flute and sax though at the time being I suck (more than I do on guitarEmbarrassed)
