I have never seen a Chat room dedicated to music where people really participate. However, I think the only music related chat that could work, would be a "P.A." chat.

 I really think people in this site has good disposition to seriously talk about music, and not about any other topic instead.

 A chat would help a lot and faster to exchange opinions and recomendations about recent albums, or about any album in fact.

 I vote:      "Definitely ˇˇ. Please P.A. create one ˇˇˇ"
