Saludos,

Is that a band or an orchestra?

You never know if all of them can make it to the show, so it's preferable to have some spares, huh?

it might have existed: Fripp & Sylvian with Trey Gunn on bass and Pat Mastelotto on drums in live version (Damage).

Ok, but remember supergroups almost never work:
Vocals...Peter Gabriel & Annie Haslam: Peter is great with the low ranges and as frontman. Annie would do a great job with the high ranges in which Peter is weak and she incredible.
Bass...John Myung (Dream Theater): Amazing player, very complex style.
Chapman Stick...Tony Levin: Great duo with Myung.
Guitars....Steve Hackett and Steve Howe: Hoping they would do it better than in GTR.
Keyboards...Par Lynd: Incredible keyboardist, even though Wakeman and Emerson are also great, they have too much ego to be part of supergroup, will end killing someone. And Tony Banks is a great band player, but his recent curriculum with Genesis disqualifies him.
Drums...Manu Katche: One of the best and he's in his peak right now, if he never cared being a session musician for Peter Gabriel, I believe he would be perfectly comfortable being part of a band with Peter in vocals.
Flute...Anna Holmgren (Anglagard): Great style and versatility
Violin and Backing Vocals...Robbie Steindhart (Kansas): Ideal for any prog' band and has also a great voice.
