It means that the movies with the biggest impact on us, in a good or bad way. Those that alter our views, create sorta phobias etc.

I'll mention 2 negative and 2 positive experiences of mine. There are a lot more, of course.

Jaws changed my life in a bad way, I think I have galeophobia because of that.

Batman (1989) - The first movie that I watched inside a theater. It was an ancient, gothic-like, huge, high-ceilinged building. We, thinking that it is the best place (lol), sit in the frontest seats with my brother, who is about 2 years older than me. I think I mentioned this before. I saw nightmares virtually every night because of the Joker (Jack Nicholson).

The Shawshank Redemption: I watched it when I was a teenager. It was a sunday night. I had to sleep before 10:00 PM, as the other day was a schoolday. But, I was intrigued by its trailer and decided to watch it. What a wonderful night that was! Watching the movie at such an age was really a life-changing experience for me.

The Big Lebowski: I think this is the Flintstones for adults. I wished I had a buddy like the Dude. Still my favourite movie ever.

Wanna share your experiences?
