Maybe Soviet scientists cloned him in order to create a more placid genetic makeup however the experiment went terribly wrong and the evil Svet was unleashed which has resulted in the arch-enemy of PA for eternity. OH NO

Yup, we should maybe apologize to you if you're not him. It had become to a point that it was a game between us as to whom would spot him first. Ian & I have to look out for him both here and at another forum, where he keeps returning after getting life ban on there too. I think next time he'll pop up here or there, he will be signalling himself as from either Nauru, Mauritania or South Sudan.

The last thing I want in my life is to cause a conflict, anywhere. However, I think that if there was a guy that was FAMOUSLY banned for one reason or another, it would be nice if he and his activities that made him banned were carved in stone somewhere at the gates of Prog Archives. For I was confused a bit yesterday. I looked in Wikipedia, read the bio, returned to the forum, didn't understand why I had had to be literal to be perceived normally at this site. Now I see, that was another Svetonio, not from the ancient times. OK. I promise to improve my behaviour. I am so sorry. |

Same here, but it looks too much like his usual behaviour. I never said Svetonio didn't have interesting musical propositions either (he often did), but it's the way he perceives genres (plus some highly offensive racist posts) that got him banned. |

I have a couple of cds by The Gourishankar as well as stuff by Little Tragedies, Lost World, Sunchild and Karfagen. So far I really have only heard Karfagen and a little bit of Little Tragedies. Both are very good. I haven't gotten around to the others yet.

^^ You'd better listen and read before calling the guy "new Svetonio".
Most of the videos he posted in this thread belong to significant bands/artists in the USSR. You may like these songs or not, but they are already classics.
