Much of the fun of attending Yes concerts in the 1970s was to check out their fashions!! Chris Squire in particular was a fashion plate!
The "Relayer" tour saw the boys in fine garb, Steve Howe wore this ensemble.... |

I think it's fun; helps lighten things up and sometimes makes the music more immersive. I sometimes forget that Jethro Tull is from the 1970s and not medieval times, or that Yes is actually from Earth.

I'm watching old videos of rock bands playing live, and it looks like a majority of them saw it necessary to wear some out-of-left-field garb while performing. What's everyone's thoughts on bands that wear uniforms on stage? Does it add, take away, or do nothing to the experience of the show? Have you ever seen a band that plays concerts dressed up in any particular attire?
