For me definitely Revolver. My young days.

I just doubled the result for my favorite.  Guess it won't win, huh.

And that's the thing. Most voters in this poll will vote for the more proggier of the Fabs' albums. Rubber Soul, although a standout, is probably not best categorized among that group as it still maintained some of the stronger aspects of their earlier efforts. Revolver, the boy's true launch into the counter culture at the time, signifies, dare I say, a break from the past on the way towards a more assured self-reliance in the recording studio, an aspect responsible for the group's most satisfying period of work.

Re Magical Mystery Tour, this was the UK track listing of the "double EP":

Magical Mystery Tour
Your Mother Should Know
I Am the Walrus
The Fool on the Hill
Flying
Blue Jay Way

 . . . which clocked in at 19 minutes.

In other words, it was side A of the US release, just with the tracks in a different order.  That was it  It was more like a "double single," as it was pressed on two 7" vinyl, 45 rpm records.

The following tracks, from side B of the US version, were not on the UK release:

Hello, Goodbye
Strawberry Fields Forever
Penny Lane
Baby, You're a Rich Man
All You Need Is Love

So if we're sticking to the UK releases, those tracks shouldn't be considered for Magical Mystery Tour . . . well, at least not re sticking to the versions of the albums that were available prior to 1976.
